Kentucky Horse Heritage Days aka Autumn Arts Fest

Jeff Underwood. metal sculptor from the 2003 Autumn Arts Fest.

The first Autumn Arts Fest (now known as the Kentucky Horse Heritage Days) was held in 2002 at the C. Rider Barn located in Dry Ridge. By 2003 the Arts Fest had moved to its current location of Grant County Park in Critenden.

Tom Schneider outside his booth at the 2003 Autumn Arts Fest. Our dear artist friend passed away in 2005. He is truly missed.

The 2009 Kentucky Horse Heritage Days is over but join us in the fall of 2010 for more music, painting, pastels, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, photography, handmade baskets and soaps, gourd art, sculpture, jewelry, wood-working, metal-working, quilting and much much more. There will be live demonstrations by many of the artists to see and many beautiful works to purchase. Stop by the food booths, grab some lunch and be amazed by many local and regional musicians. There is also a children's art exhibit showing the work of local students and pre-schoolers.
