CETA holds two meetings each month dedicated to furthering the arts in our community:
Our general meeting is a fun and informal gathering for people of all ages and levels of experience in the arts, and the focus is on sharing ideas and inspirations with one another. The program may include anything from presentations by visiting artists who show examples of their work and demonstrate their methods, to a writer giving a reading, or a performance by a local musician.
A special feature – the CREATIVE CHALLENGE – encourages personal expression. Each month a theme or concept is suggested and all are invited to make a response, using the method of their choice – painting, drawing, sculpting, music, writing, etc. At the following month’s meeting those who wish can share the results of their efforts with the group.
This meeting takes place on the first Friday of every month, from 6:30 to 8 PM, at the Grant County Tourism office, Dry Ridge Outlet Center, Dry Ridge, KY. Call 859-824-3451 for more information.
The next creative challenge is...
Made from Nature
Create art from natural materials (i.e. rocks, wood, flowers, giant bees, sea shells, etc.)
Meeting Date: Aug 3 2007
At our board meeting, CETA’s Board of Directors work to plan future events and implement ongoing programs. This meeting is held on the fourth Monday of each month, at the Grant County Tourism office, Dry Ridge Outlet Center, Dry Ridge, KY, at 7 PM.
